The main character of the game is introduced after a period of cold open plague sweeping across the world. The main character was dreaming initially where a stag led him to an underwater castle. Considering this as a sign from the gods, the protagonist sets off following the dream as his lead. He soon comes across the fated sunken fortress. A series of events take place soon afterward.
